How Our Moving and Storage Solution Works
Red Rover’s Fetchable Storage® solutions were created to provide a storage solution that enables flexibility for your schedule and easy access to your goods, as well as reduced effort and costs whenever you need to move.
Choose Your Portable Storage Unit
Getting a new portable storage container or accessing your current one is easy and seamless. Current customers will be able to log in and schedule their pickup through our website or by calling your Concierge Agent. New customers simply need to use our Get A Quote function to get started. Here you’ll be able to choose the best option for you - for both local area service and long distance moves. Pickups can be scheduled as early as 8AM and must be returned by 10PM of the same day.
Access Your Storage in Concord
When you arrive at your selected pickup location, you’ll find your storage unit waiting for you on a truck, ready to go. The entire process is contact-free, and your unit will be sanitized, removing any concerns related to COVID-19. The flexibility of our portable storage solutions makes Red Rover perfect for any occasion. Just picking up an item or two? Grab them and then we’ll store your container again. Need your container on a truck to unload your things? Guess what, it’s free on the first and last day of your storage rental! A free truck, free tolls, free fuel, and a free dolly*.

Our Concord Truck Rentals
You’ll be hard pressed to find a truck rental that’s easier or safer to use than our trucks at Red Rover. Each truck at our Concord Storage Center is equipped with collision detection, a backup camera, a toll transponder, free roadside assistance, and free mileage for up to 30 miles*. To ensure the safety of our customers, each truck is sanitized between uses. You’ll be the envy of your neighborhood when you deploy our patent-pending remote control operated ramp that is designed to traverse the entire exterior of the truck bed, allowing you easy access to your container and eliminating heavy lifting since it’s all controlled by a remote on the truck’s key fob!

Return Your Container for Storage
Access to your container and truck is simple. Just return your unit to our location in Concord by 10PM on the day of pickup, and we’ll store it away in our climate-controlled storage center. When you’re ready to unload your container, we’ll have it loaded on a truck ready for you to drive it to your intended destination. It’s the same process, just in reverse!

Overall, use space as efficiently as possible -- try to pack things snuggly from wall to wall and floor to ceiling as contents will shift while you are driving.
Place your larger, heavier items on the bottom and load lighter items on top of them. Try to distribute the weight of your belongings in the container evenly. Make sure your items are protected and devoid of moisture to prevent mildew and damage to your belongings. We recommend using packing blankets liberally to protect furniture and other items.
You can turn couches on their end to maximize usage of your space – do not shrink wrap leather. Flip mattresses up against the walls or back of the container to best use space. You can pack loose lighter items like blankets and pillows in trash bags. They can be used as padding for other items and to help keep items from shifting.
There are eyelets at regular intervals on the interior posts of the container. It is important to use rope or straps with these eyelets to secure your items as you load your container.
Use a blanket to pad the dolly when loading furniture and other goods. And many people aren’t used to using a ramp, so please be careful!
